About Us!

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization we pull unwanted and abused dogs from southern shelters and Midwest Puppy mills to give them the chance at a better life. 

We work with numerous city and state shelters along with transport companies to ensure these dogs are safely transported to the NJ / NY area. Once they arrive, they are vetted and screened for proper placement in foster homes. Dogs are socialized and learn to adapt in home settings with a structured schedule. Once observed by staff for a few days, these dogs are ready for adoption.

All applicants are required to fill out an application. Once your application is received we will complete vet and reference checks. If approved, you will get a call from a team member to go over the adoption process and to set up a meet-and-greet. All of the dogs are fostered in Rockland County NY, West Milford NJ or Butler NJ.
